Sup fools. Allie and I have been talking about doing a couple of local restaurant reviews in the blog because we’re such major fans of excellent food in Anchorage, Alaska. We may be the worst-dressed city in the United States of America, but you know what? We have some pretty dope restaurants and some very exciting twists on old favorites around town. Like most cities, you gotta watch out for the hole-in-the-wall joints. And we have plenty, ya’ll. In honor of the food reviews to come (and we gotta give this section of the blog a dope name, too), here’s a sample.
As a graphic designer and fan of excellent website design, I just want to show you the website of a tiny little downtown joint Allie and I accidentally discovered this past Sunday–truly a hidden gem in every sense of the word. Ladies and gentleman, check out fresh bakery/sandwich shop/happy place, Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop. (Yes, I love bread.) http://fireislandbread.com/
You’re welcome. Knack, out.
Come to Anchorage, man.
